Our commitment

This policy describes the principles that guide how we research, write, and update content on joint-health.info. It applies to our educational guides and to our product reviews alike.

Accuracy first

We aim for factual accuracy in every claim we publish. Where a claim about an ingredient, mechanism, or product feature cannot be verified from a reliable source, we either qualify it clearly or leave it out rather than present it as established fact.

Primary-source research

Wherever possible, we base our content on primary sources: manufacturer ingredient lists and labeling, regulatory filings and guidance, and peer-reviewed or otherwise published research. We avoid relying solely on secondary marketing summaries when a primary source is available.

Evidence versus marketing claims

We draw a clear line between what a product's marketing says it does and what independent evidence actually supports. When a brand's claims go beyond the available research, we say so. When evidence is preliminary, limited to animal or laboratory studies, or mixed, we describe it that way rather than rounding it up to a stronger claim.

Regulatory context

Where applicable, we check product claims against relevant regulatory context, such as how a category of product is classified and what claims that classification allows a manufacturer to make. This helps us describe products accurately rather than by their marketing language alone.

Corrections

If we identify an error, or if a reader brings one to our attention, we correct it. For factual errors that could affect a reader's understanding of a product, we update the relevant page as soon as we are able to verify the correction.

Commercial independence

Some links on this site are affiliate links, and joint-health.info may earn a commission on qualifying purchases. Commercial relationships never determine our editorial conclusions. Ongoing review

Product formulations, pricing, and availability change over time. We periodically revisit published reviews and guides to check that the information remains current, and we update pages when new information becomes available.
